Creativeskills.be goes offline! No fear, the site won't disappear! In contrary! We organise a real-life event to present version II of the site at Saturday 27th September 2008 at 7pm at Designcenter De Winkelhaak in Antwerp. On December 21st Creativeskills.be exceeded 3000 members!

We would like to thank everyone for joining this wonderful community! We hope to serve you even better by releasing a new version of the site by the first quarter of 2008. This version will contain more community features, unlimited uploads as well as company profiles and different listings for freelance jobs and internships. 2008 will be an exciting year!

Goodbye "could not connect..."

The past months some of our visitors got a "Could not connect" error when trying to reach the Creativeskills.be website. We've been using server monitoring services to get an overview of the downtimes, but surprisingly there were no downtimes to report. After reviewing our DNS settings, database and PHP code we still didn't find anything. Today we finally found the bug in a little corner of the site. Mint, an analytics program we installed on our server, was blocking all Internet Explorer 6 users. We've disabled the statistics program at 10.30 this morning and users reported us everything was working fine again. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

BarCamp Brussels

Bart Claeys, the founder of Creativeskills.be will be talking about Creativeskills.be at BarCamp Brussels at Saturday May 5th. An overview of the future plans and developments will be given.

Project interface improvements

We're working hard to make the management of projects easier. With a simple drag and drop you'll be able to change the order of your projects. You will also be able to display your projects as a list which reveals more detailed information like the number of times the project has been viewed and the number of comments that have been made.

Like you can guess, we'll also make it possible to comment not only on portfolio projects, but also on jobs. We want you to interact with every piece of content on this website!
